#6 plug seems to be fouled with oil. Engine smokes bad. replace plug and it stops for about 100 miles then it starts again. have replaced the head
(used) and it still does it. replaced coil, dist. cap and button, and wires with no change. compression is 170. questioning the ICM. any help will be gratefully accepted!!

If it smokes constantly, it is probably a broken ring. Oil is coming from the crankcase not the ICM. You replaced the head, so that eliminates valve guides/seals.:)shady

No doubt... its either a broken ring or an oil leak through the head gasket due to an uneven surface.
