Over the years I have been having connections problems with the TFI remote I had done and have gone back to the drawing board on it.But in the mean time I was curious on how hot the TFI module got here in Phoenix,AZ.So I have a Bell in door/outdoor temperature gauge with a 10 ft lead I bought at O'riellys a couple years back and RTV'd it to the module. On a summer day of a 110 degs. with city and freeway driving the maximum temp was 155 degs. So off to Home Depot to the plumbing section to look for 3 inch dia. exhaust gas vent tubing with a max.expanding length of 8 ft. for $10 bucks. I mounted it on the driver side open intake port above the charcoal canister back to the distributor behind the plug wires and zip tied it to keep it in place.Went for a test drive and was surprised that with the outside temp at 111 degs and with the same route taken, the module temp was down to 115 to 122 degs.
