Driver side front 2000 ranger. Just replaced wheel bearings pads rotor and caliper. Now when I apply brakes at a slow speed there's a single quiet clunk noise. Caliper loose? Ball joint going? Some other suspension issue? Safe to drive until I get it to a shop or stop immediately???

I'm on an island currently- shops and service are limited.

If you have access to a jack I'd jack the front up, do a quick check of the joints, and if all checks OK it is probably safe to drive to a shop.
