problem started today!! Heading down the road and truck started cutting out when I would get my foot into the pedal and clear up when I would let off. Also, for the last couple of weeks it has been hard starting and flooding out when it does start. Thought it was the extreme cold weather, we had 0-(-20) degrees but it is still happening now that we are back into the sixties. any help would be greatly appreciated really need my truck for work.:dunno:

Unplug the oxygen sensor and try driving for a day. If it improves replace the sensor.

New Fuel filter?

Fuel starved at higher RPM would fit, flooding or hard start would not.

Weak spark would account for all symptoms.
Pull a spark plug and have a look at tip condition and test spark.
Cold start has richer mix, foot on the gas, of course, is a richer mix, either can drown a weak spark.

I use a jumper cable and old spark plug with wide gap.
Clamp spark plug in jumper cable, clamp other end of jumper cable to ground
Pull a spark plug wire and hook it to test plug
Start engine, yes it will miss, lol
Make sure spark is nice and bright, also steady spark rhythm

will try the ox sensor tomorrow, if that is it I will still do a good tune up with new wires, plugs, cap and rotor this weekend (recently purchased this jewel and don't know when it was changed before, is in great shape, dent and rust free and ran like a champ before all this started) . Will let you know what I find out.
