hello new to the forum and i was wondering if any one knew anything about how much boost a stock 2.8 can take and maybe a turbo suggestion and yes ive looked on and around this site and i didnt find much except people talking about europe still using them and twins and such so please dont go there and yes i know getting forged pistons are much better for turbo applications and i will do so when the motor blows .... i also plan on adter i get the turbo set up i plan on finding 2 equally sized helical cut 51 tooth gears to stuff under my timing cover i am wanting to see how well that set up would work with a healthy5 or 6 pounds of boost to clean out the cylinders and hopfully give me some good low end
