Has a slight vibration/bounce when breaking ... what could be the cause ... I was thinking my e brake but I'm not really sure

Going to need more information. What engine and transmission do you have?

Do you feel it mostly in the wheel? Hard or soft braking? Any pulling to one side or another?

Welcome to TRS :)

Pickup trucks, including Rangers, use 70/30 braking, meaning 70% of the braking power goes to front brakes, so any vibration during braking is usually a Front brake problem, usually, not always.
If you feel the vibration in the steering wheel then for sure front brake issue.

E-brake is on the rear wheels

Do you hear a noise from the rear when braking?
