My 1993 has power mirrors in that the mirror moves.
Does the whole unit fold manually toward the body for car washes etc?
I have tried but the unit does want to budge.
Thanks,
Dan

This should be really easy to figure out. Look at it carefully, if the housing has a break for a hinge, they fold. If it doesn't, they don't.

And there are probably about 2,000 Ranger owners that have figured that they MUST fold...and found out how expensive they can be for mirrors that don't fold...

Mine do...I have an 88 with the old flag mirrors...they will fold all the way as needed...and after a few years they start to sag...sagging flag mirrors is a big turn off for chicks...so I wouldn't recommend replacing your current version...

I think they all fold, but might be a bit stiff if they haven't been folded in a while.

btw, if you like the chrome look, these - http://www.ebay.com/itm/NOS-OEM-Ford-Bronco-II-Ranger-F-150-Series-Pickup-Mirror-1980-1989-Right-Side-/231416116482?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item35e179b502&vxp=mtr - are the mirrors 83 and maybe 84 Rangers had, before they went to plastic. Should be a direct interchange from the newer plastic flag mirrors. Although, 1993 Rangers might have the mirrors in where the door window used to be. In that case, you could go with this style - http://www.ebay.com/itm/06-10-FORD-RANGER-PICKUP-Manual-Chrome-Mirror-LH-DRIVER-MOVEMENT-/231359708682?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item35de1cfe0a&vxp=mtr
