Looking for advice/products/solutions to a manual shift extension.
Trying to find something to extend it by 10 inches or so.

I found one from JC Whitney, but its only 2-3 inches, and everything else i have found is not compatible.

I don't have a solution, but maybe you could specify transmission or transfer case?

You will need to do a custom shifter, assuming transfer case shifter.
One problem you will run into is the throw distance at the end of the 10" extension.
Measure throw distance now, from 2H to 4L, at the handle, then tape a 10" stick to it and measure throw distance again, thats one long hole in the floor pan

Making the lever longer shouldn't effect the floor pan. It might interfere with the dash though.

I have been looking at them for a manual transmission lever (to fabricate chrome twin stick levers for my t-case) Amazon has a bunch of black and neo chrome options but they are threaded... and generally Ford levers are not threaded. Could possibly thread it to one of the popular sizes.

I took RonD's post to mean after a body lift.

The stock lever will still stick thru the floor but it will just be short. Been there done that. Length of lever won't effect how it interacts with the trans tunnel.

Doing that so I can put the FX4 knob (which is threaded) onto my Hurst shifter. Using a 2" long stainless rod 12M 1.75 external thread one end and 3/8-16 internal other end.

Here is the one I made after I put a bodylift on my truck. It looks like stock with everything together.

Did you make it or find it somewhere?

I have kind of resigned myself to having to weld it on the shifter pivot part under the truck.

I am actually wanting them to match my chrome FX4 shifter. :D
