I have a 02 ranger that the left window didnt wor. Right side was good. While checking out the motor the right stopped working from the left side. The right side switch work the right window fine. After replacing the driver side window motor, the left side is fine. But the right side will not work from the left door. I changed the switch twice with no luck. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Wade

So drivers side and passenger side both work now

Just passenger side can't be rolled up OR down from drivers side switch

Wiring diagram below

There is a White/yellow wire and a Tan/blue wire that runs from drivers switch to passenger switch
Each is a full time Ground wire for the passenger switch when no button is pressed on drivers switch.
When you press the drivers switch or passenger switch it makes one wire to the passenger motor 12volts the other wire stays a Ground so window goes "down" or "up" if you reverse 12v and ground

Since passenger side switch works it has 12v from the Blue/black wire and BOTH white and Tan wires are good Grounds if window goes up and down
get a Volt meter and test at passenger door switch.
See if the white and tan wire go to 12volts when drivers side door switch is pushed

Both electric windows on my 94 supercab are off track, the motors seem to work when the windows are back on track (no pun intended) when the windows are off track, the motors try and I guess they have an overload cutout.

First question I have should I look for parts first or open it up and see what I "need"?

I'm always for the "open it up" camp.

Could be something painfully obvious.

the door panels are rather easy to remove thanks to Modern Plastics LOL

Well the door Motors bumpity bump apparently they don't have the strength to push the window up.

what I don't quite understand or haven't figured out yet is how the window keeps tilting within the tracks. and there doesn't seem to be way to move the tracks inward at the top,

Need some input on this gentleman!

Please, and thank you

May be selling the 93 long bed on Monday!
