Ok I really hope yall can help me out on my 1989 B2.

The turn signals and brake light on my driver side wont light or flash.

I have running lights at all four corners and the relay clicks normally in the dash. However, the indicator light does not light for the driver side either.

I replaced the bulbs and that didnt change anything.

Driver side also will not flash with passenger hazard lights.

I am open to all thoughts. Thank yall ahead of time for your ideas.

It's probably an open circuit. I'm not at the computer now, but you need a wiring diagram to trace that driver side circuit.

Probably the turn signal switch.

Thank you for your time. I will have to see if I can come up with some thing. Would you think my short would be between the multifunction switch and the dash light in the steering column or am I looking for connectors under the truck?

That would kill my hazard and brakes for that side? Looks like ill be heading to the pull a' part tomorrow if its not pouring down rain.

I'd bet your multi function switch is your issue. I had to replace the one in my '03 for similar problems.

At some point did Ford redesign the multifunction switch? The ones I am finding read "off-1-2-3-4-5-low-high" the one in my b2 currently reads (5-4-3-2-1-off-low-high). Will this new style work for me?

I would say that is the unit you want for your vehicle.
