I have a quick question.i've been looking for a floor shifter for my 1987 truck that im swapping to a 4.0l with the A4LD od auto trans with very little luck.since no one sells an aftermarket 1.now my question is.ive seen the 1986 to 91 aerostars floor shifter bezel and it looks pretty damn close to the ranger/bronco 2s have.and I found out the they also came with the A4LD trans as well.will that floor shifter work instead of a ranger/bronco2 one.only difference I could see from pics was the the shifter shaft was longer.is that the only difference.let me know.
