I am In the process of replacing the restraint control module on my truck after the drivers bag deployed. The only thing I'm worried about is it seems too easy. all it is, is 3 bolts and a harness. I have already replaced the bag and clockspring but haven't hooked up the bag yet because the RCM but how can I be sure that the bag isn't going to somehow deploy when I reconnect the battery after replacing the RCM and reconnecting the airbag? It was a very costly investment so I really want to do it right and not blow up in my face. Please help it is my daily driver and has to have me at work in the morning.

I just went for it and hoped for the best. My restraint system is now fully functional with no dash lights.
