I have an 03 ranger and just realized that there are no pre made spots for extra switches. Any ideas on how to put switches there without having to cut the dash up?

youre going to have to cut it up. i just used a dremel to drill holes in the bezel around my radio/hvac controls and stuck two switches in there.

I used the plastic boot thingy where the gear shifter comes through... just 2 holes behind the gear lever and popped in some light up switches

cut your ride sissy! seriously though, plan out what kind of switches and how many you want to add and then find the most ergonomical place to put them and carefully drill or make the cuts. i have actually used the round price tag stickers used at garage sales and stuck them on my dash board for a week or two and drove around with them while pretending to turn on a switch to see if i like where theyre at before drilling the holes.

If you have an aftermarket stereo you could try slipping the switch in the molding of your head unit. i have a pic, but its not too good.
