Wtf?

Will fit all of the following vehicles. Only for 4 WD Trucks with the Dana 28 Axle.

Ford Ranger 1990 1991 1992 1993 1994 1995 1996 1997 (4 Wheel Drive/Dana 28).
Ford Bronco II 1990 1991 1992 1993 (4 Wheel Drive/Dana 28).

Yeah, and there's no such thing as a 91-93 Bronco II. The guy's a moron.

Is it pathetic that I registered an eBay account just to question this guy on his should be non-existent parts?

not even a little bit, i was thinking of doing the same thing....let us know what he says, i'm going to guess mentally challenged or chevy owner

why chevy owner? chevy uses dana axles too.

I wrote him before I saw this thread.

Thanks for the info, but we take our info (just like 99% of part dealers) from the Moog catalogue and that is the way moog lists the ball joints. Furthermore, often, people have swapped axles on these old trucks (I know most people would not swap in a d28 instead of the d35) but the info is there in case someone buys the ball joints and is not aware of a previous swap. We are basically selling the ball joints for the axle not the truck.

But I have personally seen a 1993 ranger 4x4 with the dana28.

Here is some info for you.....

My response (after seeing this thread):

Here's a thread started by some on that same site about your add. Some of the knowledgeable Ranger and BII owners bashing you and calling you stupid.

His final response:

Ummm....thanks for the info and I'm not trying to be rude so please don't take this as such but REALLY, I dont give a $hit what they are saying. I sell all kinds of front end parts, there is no way I am going to know every single axle that went on every year and make truck. AGAIN, the Moog catalogue which is considered the bible of front end parts lists the dana35 axle up to 1993 AND the Activant part lookup system that is used by 99% of all parts stores in North America lists the bronco II up to 1993. SO that is why I have put it in the listing. Besides, I have never been a fan of anytthing that Ford made so you see where im coming from?

So it seems he does give a shit about what his "customers" have to say. I just wanted ball joints for my D35, now I know where not to buy from!

I think that a reputable parts man would want to know a little more about his products.

oh, well if moog says it's so, then it must be so. stay tuned my next build will be a 1993 bronco 2

he's "never been a fan of anything ford made".....told you he was a chevy guy

i was lookin at them, they look like they're for a d35, but yeah, i wouldnt buy anything from him

yeah i got the same message, i stand corrected....to a small and insignificant point but nonetheless it does exist :annoyed:

still wont be buying from him though thats for sure

Me either, I'm half tempted to message him just to point out how much of an idiot he is.

But that would involve work, and we all know that's like kryptonite to me.

I just got this email.

Since you seem to be the only rational person that emailed me, Could you do me a favor and post something up so people stop bombarding me with these pointless emails. Maybe tell them I am not interested in selling to anyone on the rangerstation :)

I would appreciate it. thanks...

Oh wow, thanks for letting me know I don't need to go there. Their stuff is made in China anyway.

Maybe I'm a butthole, but I correct ads all the time. I consider it a service to people though. I always find Explorer tail lights being sold as Ranger tail lights or vice versa on Ebay. I usually get a "thank you" though, rather than a "leave me alone and don't buy from me please". There's a guy right now in the local classifieds that has a T45 for a 4.6 Mustang he has listed as a T5 for a 2.4 Mustang. I emailed him yesterday and told him, but his ad is still incorrect. I really do it though so some poor sap doesn't buy something they don't need.

"pointless emails"???? letting him know he is selling something that is incorrectly labeled is pointless? what a fag, is there a way to report him to ebay?

"maybe tell them i am not interested in selling to anyone on the rangerstation"........yeah, or anyone that knows that they would be buying the wrong part. i'm gonna register for an ebay account later and send him an email.
