I decided to make a build thread, mostly to keep track of what I've done to my truck, and what better place to do it than here.
Here is the very first day I got it. This is my first vehicle, I bought it for $3,000 with 125,000 miles, one owner. It was a steal!
I thought I was cool so I put some cheap Walmart lights on the bumper
Here's me pulling a very large trailer
Ya right lol
Next order of business was new wheels. My windows are not tinted in this picture. That's later
I traded my old useless wheels for a roll bar straight up. Even better it was specifically made for a Ranger. (I forgot to mention my awesome steering wheel cover. That's the only picture I have of it)
Added 2 more lights in the middle. I took the lights off the bumper shortly after.
Then I painted the grille and bumper black. Also somewhere in the mix i painted the top of the bed with bed liner. I don't have a direct picture of it but if you look closely you can see it in some pics.
Then I got a lift kit! AAL in the rear and torsion keys in the front. 3" all around.
New 31" Hankook Dynapro ATM tires
I got sick of looking at a nice black grille and bumper with ugly grey fender flares. So i took them off.
Looks much better if you ask me, well minus the holes. Up next...2007 mirrors!
The first heavy snow fall inspired me to do something different than a little snow fort or a wimpy snowman, so I made my self "The Colorado Camper" As easy as it sounds, it's very time consuming and your up-side-down most of the time carving out snow onto your face.
After debating on what to do with birthday money, I went and got my windows tinted. I've been dying to do this for awhile and wanted to cross it off my list.
Before (fish bowl)
After (Awesome)
I figured since I had 31" tires, it would be a good idea to have a full size spare, and what better place to put it than on the roll bar.
It kinda bothers me that the right side isn't the same as the left, but maybe if I'm really bored someday I'll fix it. Oh, and the tire isn't matching but it has almost 100% tread and it was only $40
There goes my rear view mirror
And that's how she sits right now.
