no the rust/fluid wasn't in the housing, i sprayed it with deegrezer and some of the rust from the axle tubes got smacked in from taking the seals out. going to de-grease it more tomorrow and hose everything out.

ok, this is where i left off tonight. running a 4bt with a m5r2 trans, that as you can see has a different bellhousing as it is supposed to... i must of gotten a 6 cyl n not 8 cyl trans.

so ask questions lol easier then going back and putting in all the writing for the pics

questions???

if that gaggle of pictures wasn't self explanatory, i need a different dictionary with the proper definition of self expanatory.

great job:icon_thumby::icon_thumby::icon_thumby::icon_thumby:

never ran it on atf, i have thought about doing a diesel and other oil blend, but just dont have room to set it all up. one day i might be able to

You didnt tell me you got chromo axles and a locker for the D44.

And as far as your bell housing, you prob got a mod motor M5OD. The top 2 bolts lined up, but the rest didnt right?

top 2 and the bottom 2, the 2 side bolts i had to.. make my own wholes for lol.

old axles were covered in rust, so i figured for 100 bucks more mines well upgrade...and locker was a must :icon_thumby:

Got to see it in person at the Carlisle Nationals...

and it will be sitting taller than it sits here once the SAS is done. its 28" to bottom of the door in current position. so figureing it will be probably close to 40"
