it started as a bone stock 91 ext cab 4.0 5spd 4x4 manual transfer case that need brakes and ebrake bracket. with 250000 miles when i bought it.

after i brought it home fixed it up got it inspected and determined needed bigger tires

so i putt 33-12.5 mud rovers under it lol with stock suspension only cut front fenders
then i started to really change it i had another ranger before so i had lots of parts ready
it got a 3inch body lift and my tube bumpers also some paint changes

then i finally got it one color

then finally got what i wanted a hurst shifter

and a steering stabilizer

the way it sits now it 4inch suspension lift 3inch body lift still 33s has new leaf spring with drop shackles so no more lift block yay

the plans are im getting a dana 30 and a 4.0 to rebuild and get that in since mines burning gas oil and coolant now. Also building a real bumper. so there plenty of work still coming it will never end lol. let me know what you think so far

Mine was painted like that when I bought it. But the kid I bought it from was proud to tell me that is is Ford Tractor blue, sprayed with a Wagoner power sprayer in his back yard! Lol.

All depends on how much off road it sees and how much you need out of it.

I say keep the TTB if it's working well for you.

So far, It's not looking too bad! I'm jealous of the clean rust free rear fenders!

If going SAS, do a D44 since yours is extended cab and you plan on a v8 swap one day. Ya I know Im running a D30 but I did upgrade from what I had. Now I do see me upgrading to a D44 one day but I also didnt intend on doing what Im doing to my truck either. Plus i can run my longarms on a D44 by just welding on the proper brackets for them if I want too.
