My 92 Ranger project is a long way from complete but I've made good progress with parts from some donor trucks along the way. Working on the body mounts this week and then replacing all the bushings in the twin I-beam next week.
Already, I'm thinking of what color(s) to paint it when all the mechanical work is done. I seem to remember the Rangers of the late 80's having some nice two-tone paint jobs with some body striping to match.
Would like to see some pics from owners of those trucks. I'm thinking a blue/black or blue/silver combination would be nice but red/black or green/gold could be OK also. Having some good pics would help give the painter an idea what I'm after.
On another note, I don't know why these extended cab trucks weren't more popular. The extra bit of length seems to make them excellent riding machines on the highway which is just what I need it for. It's really too bad Ford stopped making true mini-trucks. Everybody should have one!
