So i was kinda in a rush to get some kind of rear suspension travel before I head to the desert early nov. So i tried this set-up and it worked amazing considering it only cost my about $200 plus shocks.

First- bought a 64" leaf spring from an 06 1500 silderado:

then i had them arched to 12" at my local spring shop:

I moved the front mount forward a set of holes, about 6"

then i fliped the rear shackle mount and moved it back 3"..used a 7" shackle

on the driver side it was a pain because i had to drop the tank to get to the other side ot the bolts.

Looks like all your droop is in your shackle. How much uptravel you got?

it bumps out 9" of up travel before it hits bump stop..i just tried it it out and it cycles really well..the shackle moves back as good as it falls forward...i had to adjust the shackle placement after the first test because the spring de-arched a bit...which i kinda anticipated..now that its settled it works great

what kind of shocks you gunna run on that bad boy?

2.5 16" sway aways pretty soon hopefully...but right now im gunna run some 14" ranchos my buddy had laying around

that cage im workin on is probably gunna be temporary

yeah i would say so too, im really curious to see how it works out. have you drivin it at all since you put the springs on?
