the worst part of the whole install was trying to plug the mic into the side of the CB. It take some time and some choice words, and my hands are pretty small.

I mounted the antenna on my back rack, that way I dont have to worry about drilling holes in my cab or sratching the paint with a magnet mount

I don't have any pictures of mine, but it is setup almost exactly like PlumCrazy's is set up.

I used the power to the cigarette lighter to power the CB too.

I love the way it looks now, but I am planning on getting a newer Ranger that will have the newer style dash, Then I will have to find some other clever way to mount it.lol. I am thinking about putting in a full length center console and mounting it in there some where, but I want a manual too so it will be interesting.

Dogboy, If you pull power directly from the battery it will be a much cleaner source of power and sound a whole lot better.

I have a tiny cobra that actually fits above my stereo I am hoping to eventually get a plate in there to mount my auxiliary switches. unfortunately I don't have any pics at the moment however i mounted my antenna on my bumper.

the plastic thing fell off the bumper so i just made one of the holes bigger.

I've got my cobra 148 mounted on the dash with a 4ft frances mounted in the bed. I'll have pics later

i mounted mine tight on top of my dash. amde a custom bracket so it sits low and back, and i like it. cant figure out this picture thing so ill try later

i just have a bracket bolted to the trim below my heater controls , i may switch it up is i put buckets and a console in , and right now i have 2 4ft whips mounted to my backrack

on my F-150 i just have a magnet mount antenna and a cheapo radio

and 2 side notes

1. KTM , how is the wheeling in your part of WV

2. PlumCrazy i saw the pics of your 95 and i hate you , it is identical to my 96 except mine was green and had manual windows/locks/mirrors

i have a galaxy 44 mounted underneath the ashytray of my 92 it is manual and texas star 667v linear tucked nice and comfy between the shifter and 60/40 seats. I run a 4ft firestick tuned in and good swr with 18ft of rg8-x coaxs with fiberglass amphel ends with 8ga power wire running to the linear and 12ga heavy duty power wire running to the galaxy(home made). i will post pics as soon as i figure it out. the antena is mounted on the bedrail next to the tailgate so i don't get no interfernce with anything such as swr's. i work on radio's and tuned everything with a mfg meter one of best on the market. o'ya if anyone is interested in anything radio wise i wouldn't care to give anyone on trs a good deal i am setup as a dealer with many company's and cut the heck out of radioshack and most of the e-bay.
