This is by far the worst case of sludge I've ever seen. Underneath the lower intake was about 1cm of more sludge.
Doubt the oil has ever been changed.

EWWWWWWW!!!!!!!! I think they ran old school Wolfs Head oil in that and never changed it!! I've only seen one engine worse than that and it was from an old "caddy" that my buddy openly admitted to never changin the oil and just toppin it off every 3000 miles. Man...... brings back memories!!!!

whenever i find wolfhead oil i dump it in the waste oil, new or not

Wolf Head oil is good for 3 things.....

1) Making a good subject to talk about like in this forum and some neat pics.

2) Startin fires

and finally 3) killin weeds alongside the highway and roads when they spray em with tar around here!!!
