Just bought 4 BFG All Terrain tires, 2 of them are reusable, on 15" black steels for $60:icon_hornsup:

Now I just need to sandblast the rims , they're a little rusty, paint them black, get two new BFG A/T's, and mount and balance them and be done with it...

here they are when first bought

Update: got the rims painted flat black and tires cleaned

getting the other tires tomorrow?, mounting and balancing on monday

Since its 2wd, there's a little rubbing up front at full wheel lock, but I'll take care of that later

The 30's actually lifted my truck about an inch to 2 inches:icon_hornsup:

Oh and I took off the front valance, if you didn't notice

took the ranger into the shop today at school, to see what was rubbing, the tires don't rub on the fenders or anything, they rub on the rack and pinion, so is are they're aftermarket rack and pinion I can buy or something I can do to stop the rubbing? And my speedo is really off now, can I recalibrate it? is it hard/what do I have to do?

I found a chrome bumper for $75, picking that up on monday

Anyone? No one can answer my ?'s or has any comments? (besides TKE, thanks I appreciate it)

i am a little confused i didn't think a 92 ranger had rack and pinion steering and as far as your speedo check out the tech libray there is a calculator that will let you know witch speedo gear you will need to use to get that corrected
 
oh:icon_confused:, well what ever the steering method is, the tires are rubbing that

as for the speedo, I already checked it, I'm off 4 at 30...8 at 55...9 at 65, what can I do to stop it from rubbing?

is it rubbing on both the driver side and passenger side or just on one side. or is it rubbing your radius arms. i had the radius arm problem on mine with 31's till i put a two inch lift under it.
 
well, it rubs on both sides, the front of the tire, at full lock either way, it rubs on this pipe like thing, which lead me to believe it was rack and pinion, could it be the sway bar?
 
with normal steering sorry not technical enough to know the proper nameLOL anyways i think you might have found the problem if it is a sway bar most people just remove it but some say do it and others say not

I did that, and it helps, and after research(on TRS:headbang:)I know how to fix it, lift my truck, but not for a while like summer sometime, in the mean time i'll just not turn the wheel full lock.

also picked up a belt tensioner, serpinetine belt, spark plugs, and the 3m headlight restoration kit at Advanced Auto, those are going on this week...

show me some love, heck show my truck some love, I'll post pics as I go...
