Windstar Vs. Thunderbird

Just wondering if anyone knew if all the internals and heads off of a Thunderbird will fit a Windstar block. I am sure they will but i don't want buy something and find out it won't work.

both are 3.8 I don't think there is much that won't if you stay close in years

Hmm... A supercharged Minivan...

I do believe the bell housing patterns are different between the FWD(Windstar) and RWD(TBird) versions, just like the 3.0

Yeah i was planning on superchraging it, lol i was going to take all the inners from a super coupe and the supercharger and put it on the windstar block. I think it would be sweet i have been wanting to do this for about a year, year and half. imagine the looks when you hit the track

If i can't get the supercharger i will probably put some cams from a mustang and a cold air intake and maybe tune the computer and put a exhaust system. Then when the trans goes i will rebuilt it stronger and i might put a turbo or a supercharger on it then.

I was also wondering if anybody know if Mustang or Thunderbird Underdrive Pullies will work on a Windstar. They seem to be a different item.

Did you know there is a supercharger kit for the new 3.8 JK that can easily be modified to fit a Caravan.

Imagine boostin your wife's minivan and not tellin her about it... LOL
