I put a Explorer Center Console in my Ranger n I was
Extending the Cigarette Lighter/Power OutLet wires
when the 2 wires touched ;brownbag; so the Lower
cigarette lighter is now dead n I cant find a Fuse for
that OutLet.. The cigarette lighter near the Radio is
ok.. I want to know if/where there is a different Fuse
for the Lower one..

Thank You,
Mike Tech

Shouldn't you be able to use a test light on the fuse panel?

Go through the fuses, finding the one that's blown should able to do by sight.
If not, a multimeter will tell ya, infinite resistance = blown.

I'll see if I can narrow it down.

#17, 30Amp for cigarette lighter

NOT CONFIRMED, but it's a start.

I drive a 96 but i think its about the same so i just went outside and looked in my book. Anyway the bottom port is known as the "Power Point" and not a Cigar Lighter and the fuse for it is actually in the power distribution box under the hood and not in the fuse panel.

On mine it is located in the last row of "fuses" second one over from the right side and its a 30a fuse.

:agree: If it is known to have a fuse and you can't find it in the in cab fuse box, always check under the hood for another fuse box.

In that case...
