So since the bed I started with on my ranger was too nice ive decided to build a new one worthy of beating on trails, that also will be more use full then the one from ford.

The beginning

First some new tires!

Using 1.75 square 12 gauge wall

some early lay out

finally progress!

Let there be tin! 12 gauge otta be plenty strong

some sides

yes i welded the whole seem

Now some grinding

And a tailgate

almost ready for paint

primer

first coat

roll on bed liner

let put it on

Still much finishing to do, rear bumper, finish lights and inside wire covers, last coat of paint then future add ons like a gull wing flat top and a canopy

Bed looks really good, and I am in aggreement with the fender trimming comment lol, Why so much? looks like you could go up in size a few inches in the trire area and still have no clearance issues lol.

I know I know, but one "condition" of the truck with the wife is NO lift kit so.... I promise ill make it look pretty clean when finished

used the easiest template available, the factor fender flairs, just cut right outside of them.... plus i just got my new plasma cutter that day and got a little carried away
