Hey guys,

I'm a 14 year old who just recently got my first car, a 1988 Ford Bronco II. Its a V6 2.9L, four wheel drive, 5 speed manual. It needs some work, but it is a strong runner and was only $700. It is not 'under construction', nor do I have to work on it, I just intend to, which is why I put it in this forum.

Tell me what you think!

Pretty clean for 700. Thats what I paid for mine, but it was far from that nice. Nice find.

Welcome! and nice truck! Where are you at?

Looks like it has some rust work needs done, but looks sound, hows the engine runnin?

Thanks for the replies, guys!

I'm in Ohio (If thats what you were asking?), and the engine has 112k original miles on it. It sounds and runs awesome, it just needs a valve head gasket because its leaking oil. I have 4 new rims for it, they just need to be painted. I'm also getting new running boards for it in the near future. (Rims and running boards were promised with the purchase).

Supposedly, my Uncle is a mechanic, and was stripping down a car and kept the CD player for me. He's going to install that this week.

cool! goodluck with that project!

I am in northern PA, not to far from Ohio (well, PA and OH are very close =P), maybe I could help ya out with some work on it. Come this October I can drive on my own =).

thats perfect! id keep it all stock since everything is in great shape, not a big fan of CD players since tape to mp3 adapters are cheap and work better

Quite a few of the more recent decks have 3.5mm jacks on them, so maybe he'll get lucky.

And thanks for all the positive comments, guys. Its boosting my morale. Lol.

lol, i wouldn't have low morale for getting a fairly clean b2 for $700

Looks good man! Not bad at all for the money.

I'm part of the 2.9 with leaky valve covers club too, haha.
