Ok, so I already know that I need new brake shoes in the back of my truck. What I don't know is, what size I have, be it 9" or 10". I know I could just pull the wheel off and look, but I figured my boys here on TRS could help me out. :headbang:

Well even going by the info under your aviator, could be either. Brake size on the later trucks was based on gross weight, not motor and such. Best just jack it up, pull a wheel unless you want to risk two trips to the store.
The size is cast into the rim.

9" drums have "fins" on them, like this:

10" drums don't have any fins:

I read somewhere that you can get the 10" drums with fins off of an Aerostar that will work on the Rangers.. Is this true?
