This is a condenced version om my thread in the prerunners forum.
I started with a stock 2WD 94 2.3 5spd ranger, the first mod was a f150 coil spacer lift and 31's, a few months later I added some fiberglass from fiberwerx and made a front bumper and a tire carrier. I upgraded to a Pro Comp 5" lift, a 8.8 with 3.73's and trac loc (R6), flipped rear hangers/shackles with some blocks, then I upgraded the Pro Comp lift with some home made extended radius arms It stayed that way until the tear down.
After stripping three trucks I had a ok chasis and cab and a bunch of good parts I cut out most of the cross members and built stronger ones with re-inforcments where I wanted them, then I started building a new suspension setup keeping the radius arms and the coils and building the rest, I-beams, shackles and leaf pack. then I mounted a fuel cell, rear mounted dual batteries, dropped in a 5.0L upfront and started the rollcage.
