i have a 2001 4x4 and i cranked the keys all the way it rides pretty rough ive been thinking about getting the keys but idk what real benifit is? will it be the same height just a smoother ride or more height and a better ride? thanks joey

There is no benefit to running new torsion keys. They only cost money and don't do anything. Waste of $$$.
If you don't like the ride then "un-crank" them a little till its more bearable. Then get it re-aligned.

it you wanna get the same height and a better ride at the same time the only way to do it is take the torsion bars off and replace the front suspension with Fox coilovers. it aint cheap like 675 for the shocks and brackets from ORW if you install yourself. theres a thread or two over on Ranger-Forums.com about it

New keys will only make it ride harder. All you are doing is adjusting the suspension downward. It only has so much travel.
A torsion bar is essentially a straight spring. It just twists instead of being compressed. The more you crank it, i.e. preload it, the stiffer you make it.
That's just how it works.
Speaking of, what happened to the guy who said he could build some cheap drop brackets for a late-model? That's something I'd like to see.

It still won't lift it much more as long as the suspension retains the stock mounting points. All you're doing is running it at full droop all the time.
Dude on the Sport Trac boards did a coil-over conversion but he still scrounged up a Superlift diff drop bracket and knuckles so that he could actually LIFT the truck.
That said, even at a little over stock height a coil-over conversion will help your ground clearance because the t-bars will be gone.
just thought id throw this in for the guys who are weekend warriors i just bought a 2010 FX4, 4.0L, 33"/12.5/15 dick cepek crushers on 15x8 procomp rock crawlers with 5" offset,Maxx leveling kit (2" keys 
)1.5" TB CRANK and procomp 1.5" blocks with rancho rs5000(little bit long than stock to compensate for 3.5" T-BAR CRANK) handled like shit only suspension was the flex in the tire
then i took the swaybar out now it is 100x better at off road and pavement have picture soon
