Its pretty nerve racking, trying to drive over things you cant see. A spotter would be nice, but I thought I would give it a try anyway.

haha i have the same exact rash on my passenger rocker too lol how did you make your snorkle???

I love how people stop their truck and take a picture of it. I would do the same thing. Nice snorkel. Get a roll bar bud and a nice grille guard.

Nice rig! Wanna go SAS and send me that 4.10 d35 :icon_cheers:

I had a brush guard but took it off for the bumper I have now. The rollbar will be comming sometime in the future, working on sliders for the rockers now. Hahnsb2 I would love to but, I dont really see it happening anytime soon.

heck yeah man, looks like a fun place to play around.

To White Rhino

dang bro, lookin gangsta with the hat kicked to the side. Lots of people have hydrolocked thier engine, better safe then sorry. And you really need to do a TTB swap.

EDIT: Ditch the bumper

The reason for the snorkel, I was in the middle of a water hole pulling spark plugs so I could push water out of the cylinders and of course it was freezing. That was with only a couple inches of lift.

Yeah, Ive hydrolocked in a foot of water, just depends on the circumstances, it's not fun.

cool pics, been 15 yrs since i was in new york last. Nice looking ranger and i dig the snorkel, i know the importance of a full height snorkel.

you just can't help not posting a pic of your truck in some one elses thread can ya:annoyed: When playing in deep water a full height snorkel is extremely important. I had 6's lift and 33's and i was able to drive my Explorer top of the hood deep through water, Went so deep it actually floated until the water filled the cab and sank it back down to the bottom. After letting the interior water pour out i was able to simply start it up and drive home. Lets see your cold air intake drive through that deep of water.:flipoff: I don't need to hijack his thread with pics of my truck.

Agreed, as soon as I saw that he replied I knew I'd see a pic of his rig in here...
