Just figured I would post up a few pictures of my new daily driver...

Details...

It's a 2001 dodge 3500 5.9 CTD, 5 speed.

S300 turbo upgrade, K&N CAI, injectors, Edge chipped, FASS fuel lift pump, lifted & 35's

And all because my front coil spring bucket rusted out on the ranger...

Just thought people might like to see it.

Still not sure about the stacks, but I love the sound of them. You can definitly hear it coming from a pretty long way away.

When I was in highschool that would have sounded like a Ford Maverick with a blown-out muffler. Now it sounds cool. To me it still sounds like a Maverick with a blown-out muffler--it's 9-liters short of sounding like a semi. I like a thicker V8 sound. I love that motor, but with a muffler.

If you wanted a Freightliner, Peterbuilt, Kenworth, Volvo, or International you should have bought one.

Other thank that it looks good.

Clean truck I like the color, and that its a 5 speed...but those stacks gotta go

sweet truck bro the stacks are badass

personally i like the way some trucks look with stacks, this is one of them. nice truck!

Did think that dodge made a single rear wheel 3500 in that body style I knew that they had heavy 2500 that ran a dana 80 in the rear of the truck which is the same axle as the 3500

I still don't understand why people put dual stacks on an inline motor

Sure did. The only thing Dodge didn't do in a 3500 was an extended cab short bed.

Just curious, but why would you use something like that as a daily driver? Seems to me like a tool to have on hand when the job called for it.

I can't speak for the owner of this truck but my daily driver is a 2008 3500 cummins 6spd manual 4door long bed 4x4 drw. I drive it cause I can and like have a big truck to drive I get 16 to 20 mpg depending on how I drive it
