Hey my bronco II didn't come with a top and winter is coming! instead of finding a hard top for it I'd like to turn the front end into an actual enclosed cab. I'm not quite sure the best way to do this and any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!

I'm thinking the best, most practical way to close it up completely is to just put a Ranger cab on it.
All except the rearmost cab mounts will line up (the rear ones you'd just have to build a bracket or crossmember for them on the frame). Then take the Ranger bed and bob it to fit on the back.

There was a guy on here who did just this, though I don't recall his username (it was a silver BII w/Ranger cab, bobbed bed. Looked pretty cool I thought (maybe someone else can recall who it was).

Welcome to the site

Thanks alot man. very helpfull i apreciate it.

Condon, It's a hillbilly little town about 72 miles southeast of The Dalles.

go to a boat top place and get em to make u some bows and a soft top, be way cheaper then a new cab, plus u can drop the top in the summer, be sure u get them to do high strength velcro and snaps every 6" or so, that way the velcro will keep it from leaking and the snaps will keep it more solid to the rig

cut the back end off a ranger cab and weld it on. i think the roof height is a little different, but nothing a welder can't handle.
