Many of us use computers in our trucks for GPS navigation and/or Direction finding and/or playing solitaire on rainy days. Of course they break too. First suggestion is to find a place suitable for cleanroom operation/dissection of the patient. A stump or hood is better than nothing.
Second Suggestion is to have all tools readily available, even if you think you may not need them.
Last Suggestion is to make sure your tin can is clean before putting them tiny screws in it, or chance them getting lost between a couple kernels of dried cream corn.
For those of you concerned, the patient survived both procedures.
P.S. Thats not Mountain Dew in that bottle...
