Well a few years ago I upgraded my 75 gal saltwater tank to a 120 gal. The problem was I got the tank for cheap, but I had no stand. And I wanted a taller stand than any company made. So what I did was buy some angle, cut it up, and took it into work and had maintenance weld it for me. This is how it looks:

Now I have the 75 gal set up for some aquatic turtles:

I have 3 other tanks set up at my house and I am wanting to combine 2 of them into a bigger tank (another 75). Now they make double tank stands, but the problem is the space between the tanks is only a couple inches and I need about 5-6 to fit some heat/basking lights in there. So for the price of what the stand would cost me, I bought a cheap flux core welder and 40' of angle. Here is what I came up with tonight. Still needs paint, a bit more grinding, and maybe a spot or two touched up.

Here it is painted and set back up. The top will stay empty for a bit until I can get some more rock and other stuff.
