1997 V6 3.0L "Teufel Concept" XLT Ranger
My 1997 Ranger has been "rebuilt while rolling" you could say. I have owned it for 7 years, it is run every day and takes frequent trips of 500 miles or more.
The interior is mainly stock with mirror gauges in the dash and an aftermarket Tachometer as well. Interior lights with chrome switches burn blue at night.
The sound system is all Pioneer. I love music and I love my truck so an inadequate sound system is just not an option for me. Pioneer 6X8's in the front doors and back. A low output amp powering a 10" sub in the back mounted in place of the drivers side rear pull out seat make the lows low and allow the Pioneer deck to pump out the highs. The Deck itself has a direct Ipod control and additional USB inputs just in case you need more than a million songs to choose from...
The Engine has been and components have slowly been replaced. The intake is a "Teufel Original"; a hybrid of stock and after market components cut and combined. I don't care what people say about air intake mods and their effectiveness, I couldn't be happier!!
My Theory with my truck is somewhere between the stock materials, original mods, and after market options I can keep my ranger running clean and looking sweet.
