The who's and why's of TRS Magazine

TRS Magazine was an idea created by TRS site owner James Oaks.  The idea came from the lack of Ranger/Bronco II coverage in the major truck magazines.

TRS Magazine is designed to cover both street and off-road Rangers, Bronco II's, Explorers and Mazda B-Series.  With this being the second edition of the magazine, we still have some vacancies to fill.  Eventually we would like to make this magazine grow and put it in print.  For now, we're doing it on line to help get it organized and work out the bugs of an internet based magazine.

So Who's Staffing It Now?

Jim Oaks - Editor-In-Chief/Publisher

UTRanger - Publishing Coordinator

4x4Junkie - Off-Road Tech Editor

Jason Fountain - Street Tech Editor

Will Wills - Special Events Editor

Dave_R - Miscellaneous Tech

Joel Haywood (Forest Ranger) - Miscellaneous Tech

BentWrench - Miscellaneous Tech

Editor-In-Chief oversees compiling all information submitted by editors and putting it together in some form of media.  E-I-C also approves project vehicles.

Off-Road Tech Editor is responsible for ensuring the quarterly mag has an off-road related tech article ready for use.  He/She may choose to write it or approve an article submitted to them for the mag for use.  They are not expected to write an article for every issue, but should submit some from time to time.  They may submit (2) for each issue. (1) should be geared towards suspension.

Street Tech Editor is responsible for ensuring the quarterly mag has a street related tech article ready for use.  He/She may choose to write it or approve an article submitted to them for the mag for use.  They are not expected to write an article for every issue, but should submit some from time to time.  They may submit (2) for each issue. (1) should be geared towards suspension.

Special Event's Editor is responsible for ensuring the quarterly mag has some type of featured event (Trail Ride, Truck Show, Etc) article ready for use.  He/She may choose to write it or approve an article submitted to them for the mag for use.  They are not expected to write an article for every issue, but should submit some from time to time.  They may submit (2) for each issue.

Off-Road Feature Editor is responsible for ensuring the quarterly mag has (1) Off-Road featured truck ready for use.  It may be 2wd or 4wd.  This is a featured vehicle and not a tech story or project vehicle.

Street Feature Editor is responsible for ensuring the quarterly mag has (1) Street featured truck ready for use.  This is a featured vehicle and not a tech story or project vehicle.

So What's Still Needed?

We need a Street Feature Editor and Off-Road Feature Editor.
