I recently upgraded my Adobe Flash Player because it said it was a better version that used less memory and blah, blah, blah...
It still crashes and chews up most of my RAM when using sites that use the AFP.
I did find, however, that you can allocate more HD space to specific websites by going into the Control Panel and clicking on the AFP icon...once in there the first page has a link to show allocated disk space...and by clicking on that it opens the Adobe website showing your space allocations for each web page.
By using the slider I tried allocating 10 MB of disk space for AFP to use and this improved the performance quite a bit...but it still sucks up quite a bit of RAM...
I do intend to upgrade my RAM to the max some day soon (it has to be identical pairs on this machine) but might try allocating a bit more disk space for it first...
Anyone else have any other suggestions on how to get around this?
