Started working on my strut mounts today. I’m building them this way so I can make the vertical bars clear the turbo on the passenger side and the brake booster on the driver’s side. The two sides were going to be drastically different. This way at least the tops of the hoops will have some symmetry. These hoops just fit under the hood. The shock tabs and tops of the struts are going to stick out. I just need to put some vertical bars and shock tabs on and the front suspension is mostly done.
I played around with seat location a bit. I’m going to have to mount the seat 1” to the left of the steering wheel center so I can clear the transfer case. It’s tight in there.
