I’m Sure the Answer’s “No,” but... Drain Bolt on the Torque Converter?

I just thought about something. Isn’t the trans pan on an A4LD aluminum? Mine looks reeeeealy shiny for steel... :icon_confused:
I dunno, go get a kitchen magnet and try sticking that to it, see if it is ferrous or not.

My credo
If you can’t fix it with a hammer, you have an electrical problem
Not aluminum unless after market pan.

Right you guys were. Plopped a magnet against the outside of the pan and she sticks. Further inspection reveals that the PO shot some crappy silver spray paint on it. :icon_rofl:

Thanks, as always.

If there is a drain it would be through the flywheel at least ther is one on my C-3 torque converter. Pull the dust shield for the bell housing and rotate the flywheel there will be a hole betwee two of the torque converter bolts and a plug inside the hole?
