Ford has taken loads of money from the federal government, just not nearly the amount that GM has. And they don't call it a bailout. They called it a loan, but really, I see no major difference. They haven't paid all of it back either. https://www.forbes.com/sites/joannmuller/2016/09/21/trump-should-be-asking-will-ford-pay-off-its-government-loan-before-moving-small-cars-to-mexico/#45d2161c5e37

Jeep owners always seem angry with me when I ask them about their "Heep" spoken in a spanish accent. lol

At least ford didnt take billions in taxpayer bailout money and then give everyone the big proverbial middle finger...
That's because they got bailed out by Canada... :dunno:

but the bed is steel:icon_thumby:

if i was in the market and needed a truck.

i would for sure buy the diesel...even know its only available in auto unlike the gasser that can have a handshaker...

it checks every box.

has real suspension and axles. and lockers which suks for most people...but i am stupid like that.

winch will just bolt on to the fawkin thing...

is open air ish and can powerwash it out. fold down removable windershielz...bonus...(well when i gat dne it will be removable)

removable doors....and they sell toooob doorz fer it!!!..

fit 37's...with just rubbery things in the springs...or bolt on bad ass looking fenders(to make better use of the axles and smashing the hell out of it in the woods)

box is actually not taller then the truck and a bitch to see around requiring sensors and cameras.. like all of the current trucks...i am not short...reaching over a 2wd fullsize isnt easy...this thing rolling on dubs is still easy to deal with. go figure:dunno:

usable mirrors.....

tows 7500 pounds

the 3.0 is a solid performer...likely gets 16-17 or so town 21 to 23 or so hiway and 19 20 combined. the auto its hooked to is awesome...but handshaker would be bonus.

has roll over protection and with soft top wont matter if i use it(gently like i do) if i was smart enough to leave the windershizzle at camp.

bluetooth speaker for drinking beer at camp.

unfortunately there is no disco ball option for camp but i can bedazzle a beach ball or sumpinz...

and for shooting at camp...lockable stowage under the seats for the shot gun and ar...maybe a pistol or two.

glad i am not in a hurry to buy a truck this year....

its going to cut into jeep sales as hard as taco sales.

come awn ranger dizzle. no dixxle...no deal.

ranger dizzle with factory sas and fox stuff that was shiny........yeah...i would pay 45 grand for that. 50 if it has a disco ball and gun stowage.

If I'm gonna have aluminum panels on a new Ranger, I want an aluminum bed (or at least the bedsides) more than aluminum fenders or doors, etc.. The beds always seem to rot out on the wheel wells and around the front drivers side mounting bolt structure. Come on Ford! Get your head outta your arse! lol
