I have removed the large steel tube that runs from the intake to the exhaust and the shorter one that runs up to a diaphragm that was connected to a hose. Any idea what size and threads these are? One appears to be straight and the other tapered. Are these British Parallel and British tapered? Did the Japanese use American Standard on these trucks? Just thought I would ask before I start running all over town looking for the plugs.

I believe those are standard pipe thread. Caution, that is for the EGR system. If you are subject to emissions testing, that could cause a fail and may cause legal issues. Every State is different, so this is only a caution and not a judgment.

I built my own plate and made a gasket for the intake manifold. The other end is a m22-1.5. Ended up buying a plug for it. Since it is a tube connection a pan plug didn't work. I also used JB weld for thread sealer. The other hole in the exhaust will take a 1/2 in pipe plug. Again, I seed threads with JB weld.
