I've pulled a 17' trailer loaded with steel awning frames (3 to 4,000 lbs. plus trailer weight) over 100 miles in one direction several times, in a reg. length, loaded with tools, E350 5.4, sometimes you forget it was towing anything.
the tow button was broke off, you couldn't turn off OD, so it would downshift from time to time but other than that, no problem.
