So i was kinda in a rush to get some kind of rear suspension travel before I head to the desert early nov. So i tried this set-up and it worked amazing considering it only cost my about $200 plus shocks.
First- bought a 64" leaf spring from an 06 1500 silderado:
then i had them arched to 12" at my local spring shop:
I moved the front mount forward a set of holes, about 6"
then i fliped the rear shackle mount and moved it back 3"..used a 7" shackle
on the driver side it was a pain because i had to drop the tank to get to the other side ot the bolts.
siting:
fool droop:
stance:
droop:
ill take more pics with the bed after i get back from the metal yard.
ended up with 18" of wheel travel...not bad for what it cost
