WOW! I'm viewing from the land of rocks and trees so seeing a low slug go-fast BII is trippple cool. Seeing one built with this amount of engineering is impressive. Very very nice.

Please post a pic when you get your D50 chunk installed. On my '89 BII there was zero clearance 'tween the D35 chunk and the 6" drop bracket/pass beam assemblage. Much judicious grinding followed.

When adapting D44 TTB knuckles etc., to Exploder D35 beams, the common practice is to remove the inner layer of steel from the beams lower ball joint location. Why is this done? https://www.flickr.com/gp/140157233@N08/6Ca68P

I finally got a little time so I took the spindle, old Timkin bearing and the new Timkin bearing into my local NAPA to show them to a really saavy parts dude. He futzed with it a bit then, all of a sudden, the new bearing "clicked" onto the spindle. He pulled it back off and repeated the futzing...

Solved.

I'm in the process of rebuilding spindle and hub bearings from either an F-150 or FSB. The problem is the new Timken bearings won't slide onto the spindle. The old bearings do, snugly, but the new bearings are getting hung up and just won't go on. I did a light clean up with emory cloth but...

'89 Bronco II, fuel lines out of tank, one is vertical the other horizontal. one is 5/16 the other 3/8ths. Which one is the supply line to the filter?

I have read that an Explorer 8.8 is the same from '91 to '01. Discs, drums, no difference. I ordered some axles from Dutchmans in ID. I got the axle sizes from JBG which was 30 11/16 and 27 13/16 ths. Imagine my surprise when the axles I pulled outa my '92 8.8 were 30 1/2 and 27 5/8ths...
