Unusual shift from 1st to 2nd
2003 for ranger XLT 3.0 automatic. Hello, Swapped a trans that was hard shifting from all gears. The new/used trans started doing exact same thing until I changed the VSS and idle air intake control valve. Trouble going into 2nd gear.
2003 ranger XLT 3.0 automatic. Trans is not shifting into 2nd gear until I let off gas pedal. It revs up to almost 3-4k RPM, then I let off pedal and it shifts into 1st. Back story ... Swapped out a used transmission. Symptoms before were very hard shifting from all gears and it would delay...- Turnerbryan
