I bought an aftermarket coolant temp guage to install on my 89 2.3. The when I pulled the plug from the sensor with the truck running the idle dropped way down and I lost alot of power.Is there another place in the head or the block that I can put the probe for the guage without disconnecting...
How much power can I get out of a 2.3? The one I have is an 89' and it's been rebuilt once. I know they only had about 100hp stock though, so I'm wondering how much I can squeeze out of it. Are there any mods I can do that will take it up? Thanks.
I'm trying to replace all my guages with aftermarket stuff.I need to know how I would hook up the aftermarket gas guage and voltmeter.Do I need to cut the wires from the plug on behind the instrument cluster?Is there another way of hooking it up? I need the help.Thanks.
