Either a Granada, Capri, Scorpio, or Sierra. The 2.9 DOHC was the same block as the Ranger (has three holes drilled and tapped that are blank on the Ranger block - only differences in blocks) with Cosworth DOHC heads in it designed by (drawing a blank, give me a min lol).
There are two generations of it, the BOA and BOB. Design work on theBOB was left incomplete, and the BOA is generally accepted to be the better of the two.
They LOVE boost. Very easy motor to obtain 300 rwhp on naturally aspirated with bolt ons, and 500+ with turbochargers. They weigh less than a 4.0 iirc.
