Company that made them is Kinsmart. I checked their website and there were a few more broncos I wanted lol but their website seems like it's for wholesale.. and I can't find the coolest ones for sale on Amazon or ebay 😑 boooo

Never put off ‘til tomorrow what you can put off indefinitely
A little real estate at the desk, and then the weather was beautiful, so I went out to the shed of miracles, but pretty much just cleaned up earlier messes, I touched up the Missing Linc trailer bed, and painted the handle on the big compressor for sale and remounted it.

Around five, I did my 5th or 6th craigslist/marketplace search for the day, and hit gold again. I picked up the side step rails from a late model 2500 long cab Ram with the mounting brackets for a total of $20 plus gas about 30 miles away. I loaded them just as the first raindrops started falling.

I have no idea what I’m going to do with them, but whenever I can buy something that big and shiny pretty that cheap, I can’t resist.

You’ll never guess what I did….

Virtually new 2-5/16 Pintle hitch, adjustable height thingy, 2” x 2” 6-inch extender and two locking pins. $30. I didn’t have the heart to negotiate.

I was looking for locking pins. No keys to these, I had to cut them off.

I sliced them along the pin so I could use the pins. Here’s the news: it was these two

IMG_1088.jpeg

The $16 one was a block of aluminum and steel catch, took me 15-20 minutes to split it. The $22 one was PLASTIC! I cut it off, but I could have easily twisted it off with channel locks.

FYI…

I was so lucky. I was down to like 15 extra hitches…

I've been busy working on an abused golf cart for my friend. Lights to be specific. Someone put a set on it with haphazard proficiency. Not a single fuse anywhere. Melted a few battery terminals and wires dragging the ground. Got most of it back together. Need a proper flasher module for the new led lights but progress has been made.

Someone stole my trashcan again, so I went looking for it and couldn't find it. I know it didn't blow away because it was next to my front porch. As ridiculous as it sounds, I think I'm going to buy a chain so I can chain it to the fence post.

I know, I make fun of my creations, put together with scraps and scavenging, and then painting with Rustoleum, but even I don’t call my trucks “the trashcan.” Did you have insurance? You should seek help with depression…

For you? Or are you gonna become a slumlord like me?
Short version of a long story…

We got an unsolicited offer on our house that’s way above market value. That contract is being finalized. We’re buying a temporary house that we will live in until our new house gets built. Then we will rent out the temporary house and move into the new house (with a way oversized garage.)

My wife just texted me while I was typing this - the offer was accepted and contract is being sent to the attorneys now.

@ericbphoto (or anyone else):

Could you recommend a simple and inexpensive program that won’t eat all the memory on my computer, so I can take still pictures and videos and edit them together and provide a narrative so I could post something on YouTube, or email it to friends and enemies? No rush on this, but I’m hunting for a new laptop right now, and I want to make sure I have enough memory.
