Also dropped off the cad file at the local fab shop to see how much it is going to cost to get the side plates cut out for my grille guard.
Price came back way cheaper than I thought, for $18/side I told them to go ahead and get them worked in yesterday.

Its probably better to be self deprecating than self defecating.
Yesterday I found out my green Ranger will 4-wheel drift through a light… :icon_hornsup:

Filled the Ranger yesterday and noticed a mileage difference. Had been averaging 19–20 mpg the last few months (in other words, winter months), which caused me concern. Suddenly, with no changes in driving, it's back up to 22 mpg. The fuel stations must be on summer blend already.

It wasn’t really planned, but it’s a long light to sit through and I was running way late for an appointment and it was changing (hit yellow as I slid through) so it just kinda happened so I just kinda rocked it, lol. V-8 lowered AWD for the win :icon_hornsup:

Hitched a trailer to the Ranger for the first time today to take two loads of brush to the city dump. No problems. I might be the first one ever to use the factory towing package, who knows.

The last time I used the trailer was a couple of years ago when I was still using my father's old Silverado to tow it. Can't remember whether this was before or after I bought the Ranger.

I'm really hoping I don't have to worry about brush on the property for a while. Handling everything wore me out.

It was like that when I found it.
Turned 215k on my way to work. Think my original calipers may be toast, but who really needs 4 brakes anyway...

I hear that they give you 4 brakes for redundancy, you really only need 2, even 1 if you like to live on the edge
