2.3 rwd to 4.0 swap trans help
I have a 2.3 1990 ranger rwd that I’m swapping a 4.0 Explorer motor into. I have a manual in the 2.3 and an auto in the donor. Also the donor is 4 wheel drive. What transmission and computer will be the easiest. Building a prerunner. Thanks for any help.- Demmons

Transmission help?
Folks I need some help, I have a 1990 ford ranger. Came with 2.3 manual. Rwd . Bought a 1992 Ford Explorer for donor and am swapping the 4.0 in. The transmission the explorer came with is 4 wheel drive. What transmissions can I mount up to the 4.0? Thanks- Demmons
